Job description:
The Senior Business Process Management (BPM) Specialist will be responsible for formulating and implementing the process management methodology for the organisation based on the Nimbus BPM platform.
This will involve working collaboratively with process owners, key users and senior stakeholders across the organisation internationally.
You will play key part in facilitating the mapping of today\\\\\\\'s core business processes using the core system. The remit also includes coordinating the mapping of processes at a functional level and across multiple office locations, providing training and support to users on how to manage processes with the platform, and introducing change management procedures to ensure processes are well managed across various departments and functions.
Essential Job functions & Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement best practices in business process management using the Nimbus BPM platform
*Establish and manage global change control procedures
*Identify business stakeholders and business process owners
*Facilitate the use of performance measurements (KPI, scorecards) as part of BPM, working collaboratively with process owners to help define and implement measurements
*Define standards and templates for best practice process documentation, as well as developing BPM training courses and materials
*Manage the adoption of BPM through facilitation, delivering training and providing timely support
*Work as a team with Business Process Analyst colleagues in IT to establish process re-engineering roadmaps
*Identify other process repositories and migrate these to the Nimbus system in a well managed and structured way
*Manage the Nimbus BPM provider to continuously improve their software and swiftly address any issues
*Be a proactive and valued practitioner for business process simplification and improvement
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*Strong practitioner knowledge of Business Process Management
*A minimum of five years proven expertise in successfully implementing BPM systems is essential
*Proven experience in business process mapping and workshop facilitation
*Sound IT knowledge and experience
*Able to mediate and negotiate successfully
*Ability to liaise with and manage all aspects of BPM software vendor activity (i.e., Nimbus)
*Highly motivated to drive projects to successful completion
*Understand the corporate business plan and his/her role in supporting it
*Prioritize multiple tasks, managing conflicting deadlines, and working effectively in a dynamic environment
*Advanced-level skill working with MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook
*Quickly learn and assimilate new business processes, ideas and concepts to formulate conclusions and deliver results
*Works with integrity - maintains credibility by meeting commitments
*Actively pursues opportunities for learning and self development
*Understands span of control to escalate or delegate issues to appropriate levels
Education & Experience:
*Bachelor\\\\\\\'s Degree in relevant subject
*Proven practitioner, process and systems experience across main aspects of BPM is essential
*Experience in OEM / Manufacturing industry
*Familiarity with lean management highly desired
*Project Management experience desirable
*Experience meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; talks and acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect
